Future’s debut album “Pluto” is due out in stores and online on April 17th!
(New York, NY) – The Dungeon Family-bred, hip-hop star will deliver his highly anticipated debut album Pluto on Tuesday, April 17th. Available in stores and online everywhere, the fan-favorite disc will include guest features from T.I., Drake, Ludacris, R. Kelly and Snoop Dogg to name a few as Future takes listeners on a journey to Pluto.
The Atlanta hip-hop star follows up with his bass-thumping second single “Magic,” which is already shaping as the anthem of 2012. Future’s signature melodic flow and infectious chorus caught the attention of platinum selling fellow Atlanta rapper, T.I., who offered his vocals as a guest feature on the track. Future has solidified himself as a press favorite for “Breakout Artist for 2012.” Covering the December 2011/January 2012 issue, The Fader states “As long as tracks like Future’s “Tony Montana” are successful on a wide scale, I think we can rest comfortably knowing hip hop is alive and well.” Future’s momentum continues as he sits atop on the cover of XXL Magazine’s most anticipated issue of the year, The Annual Freshmen Class, which boasts ten hip-hop recording artists deemed to be the breakout stars for year.
The steadily climbing Billboard charting single “Magic” is currently #15 on the urban mainstream chart and YRB Magazine states, “The rapper, born Nayvadius Cash, has proven that he’s got what it takes to sit at the head of the class.”
The video for “Magic” debuted on VEVO while Future made a special appearance on BET’s hit countdown music video show, 106th & Park for its introduction. The futuristic visual was shot in Atlanta under the direction of Decatur Dan, making history as the first artist to shoot a music video atop of the infamous Magic City. An instant visual hit with more than 1.5 million views on VEVO, the video was immediately added to MTV Jams and MTV2, and has been a staple for two consecutive weeks and counting now on BET’s 106th & Park.
Just in time for the release of ‘Pluto,’ Future will deliver a new video for super-charged callout record, “Same Damn Time.” The visual to the braggadocios chant was shot in Future’s hometown of Atlanta, GA by famed video-director Dr. Teeth and is set to debut in March.
